On Foot: The casino is only 5-10 minutes walk from the centre of Funchal. Find the roundabout with the fountain at the end of Avenida Arriaga and follow Avenida do Infante west and uphill. Pass the Santa Catarina Park and the President’s residence and you will see the Car-boot sale on the left, in front of the congress hall.
The Car-boot sale takes place in the car-parks of the Casino, right in the heart of Funchal! By Car: From the west of the island, travel towards Funchal and follow signs for the centre. When you see the Pestana Casino Park Hotel from the Avenida do Infante, turn right into their car-parks’ entrance. Go straight ahead through the double barriers if you are visiting, (take a ticket), or turn right then first left into the car-park reserved exclusively for ‘car-booters’ if you are selling. Visitors can pay for parking at the hotel reception when they wish to leave. The parking charges are reasonable but may vary. Car-booters pay on entry. If you approach from the city centre or east, you will not be able to turn into the casino car-parks and will have to double back at the next opportunity to access the venue. By Taxi: That’s easy! Just tell the driver “Casino” then sit back and enjoy the ride! By Bus: The buses that stop close to the casino are No’s 01, 1, 3, 6, 8, (not 8A), 9, 10, 12, 14, 16A, 24, 35, 43, 44 and 45!

The Casino is a prominent Funchal landmark.
